...and with this global warming crap? It was 21F/-6C when we got up this morning. The highs today, and for the next 4-5 days, are going to be in the mid-40s with the overnight lows in the mid-20s. That is almost unheard of around here. But, on the upside, no snow or ice.

Come on over to Alabama, we have highs of 30s and lows in the teens. Single digits expected on Friday. Our thermostat went out on the heat pump Saturday night, the repair man is working on it now. We are staying warm though. Knock on wood, the water has not frozen.

Hola! I just figured out I can comment! You know how I love to do that..:-) Anyway, I agree with you on the global warming BS. I'm not sure it's ALL a lie (the temp in the ocean has risen, but I don't think it's our fault)but I DO think there are far too many people with the facade of concern and good intentions that are cashing in on all the panic. I just don't feel like I can trust the motives behind the resource anymore. But whatever, I'll only be here for another 40 or 50 years, and if the world ends before then, I doubt it'll be because I refused to drive a Prius. Okay Dad, stay warm and give Joyce and Guiness a big ole hug for me. Take care.
